Terms and Conditions

for the use of digital returnable services
a brand of Bridgemaker GmbH

1. Scope

These terms and conditions govern the use of the digital services of Bridgemaker GmbH in the area of returnable packaging by natural and legal persons (hereinafter referred to as "users"), especially in connection with the rental, return, cleaning, and digital tracking of returnable packaging.

2. Scope of Services

Bridgemaker offers, among other things:

  • the digital provision and management of returnable packaging (cups, boxes, etc.)

  • Return and cleaning management through connected partners

  • Integration of tracking technology (e.g., QR code or RFID) for circular control

  • Status information and evaluations of packaging cycles

  • optional: analysis tools for return rates, occupancy, or loss quantities

The use is based on a user contract or framework agreement with commercial customers.

3. Registration & Access

Some functions require prior registration. Registration is carried out by authorized contacts of the business customers and can be revoked at any time. Our privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data.

4. Usage Requirements & Availability

Access to the digital offerings requires an internet-capable device with a current browser.
We strive for as uninterrupted availability as possible. Maintenance work or disruptions may temporarily restrict the service. There is no entitlement to availability at all times.

5. Users' Responsibilities

The users undertake to

  • provide only truthful information,

  • not to enter data of third parties without their consent,

  • not to misuse the system,

  • handle received packaging carefully and to return them on time (according to a separate contract).

In case of violations, we reserve the right to exclude from the system and potentially seek damages.

6. Technical Mediation & Liability

Bridgemaker acts as the technical provider and operator of the digital returnable platform. The physical provision, return, or cleaning can be carried out by partner companies.
Bridgemaker GmbH is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence. Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential damages is excluded.


7. Data Protection & Data Security

The use of the platform is subject to the applicable data protection regulations (GDPR). Details on the collection, storage, and use of personal data can be found in our privacy policy.

Communication over the platform is encrypted (SSL/TLS). However, absolute protection against access by third parties cannot be guaranteed.

8. Duration & Termination

The use is possible indefinitely and can be terminated by either party at any time with immediate effect, unless otherwise contractually agreed.
Bridgemaker reserves the right to adjust or discontinue functions if economic, legal, or safety reasons require it.

9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Bridgemaker reserves the right to update these terms and conditions in case of changes in legal framework or offered services.
Substantial changes will be communicated to registered users in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new version.

10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising in connection with these terms is - as far as legally permissible - Berlin.
